This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics or Logistics IT professional to help achieve Trinseo’s goal to improve, standardise and align their logistics processes across the globe. Key to success is a broad based knowledge of road, rail and marine transportation, proficiency in SAP ECC, as well as strong interpersonal and teamwork skills in order to drive change globally.
∎ Providing 2nd and 3rd tier escalation support.
∎ Supports on-demand requests from business, IT, and functional process Support.
∎ Responsible for development, enhancements and organization structure of logistics work. processes, job aides and procedure documentation.
· Business Process Lead:
- Owns business process in their functional area and relationships with their peers (other business process leads).
- Acts as primary interface to IT Business Partners.
- Defines and governs business processes and related KPIs.
∎ Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, as well as facilitating change and improvement requests.
∎ Prioritizing projects.
∎ Generating related business cases.
∎ Leading and/or supporting change programs (e.g., new M&A, new technology, business process re-engineering to drive operational efficiencies, etc.) to include but not limited to: training and deployment activities, and related project management tasks).
∎ Responsible for desired outputs as it relates to this role’s overall business process.
∎ Responsible for partnering with peers, IT business partners and the business to drive improvement programs which positively impact Trinseo’s strategic objectives.
∎ Support audits/ensure SOX & ISO compliance to ensure logistics work processes meet all requirements.
∎ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a business, logistics, supply chain, finance, international trade, engineering, or I/T.
∎ 6+ years’ experience in a relevant a functional process support / lead role (e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain Planning Procurement Services, Strategic Sourcing or Customer Service.
∎ Strong enterprise business acumen, knowledge and understanding of work processes performed by Logistics Operations.
∎ Experience in designing, documenting, implementing, and improving work processes.
∎ Strong project management skills.
∎ Exceptional interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills.
∎ Ability to demonstrate value to, quickly establish trust from and form beneficial relationships with individuals and teams.
∎ Proficiency using SAP/ECC and other technology and systems.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
∎ Read, write and speak English. Additional language skills may be required based on location.
∎ Above all, the ability to be agile, adapt and produce in a fast-paced, changing environment.
